Wireshark Tip: How to edit a resolved Name and store it in the capture file
In this tip I will show you how you can easily create a name resolution for an ip address and store it inside a pacing file.
To edit the resolved name you should follow the following procedure:
If you want to have this name persistent in the capture file then you just need to save the file again.
And the name will be stored inside the DNS record of the PCAPNG file.
